Austria-based Man Publicly Humiliated For Allegedly Insulting Imo King On Social Media (Photos)

The residents of Awo-omamma community in Imo state, have disgraced and publicly humiliated an Austria based Nigerian man identified as King Onwa popularly known as Eze Awo, for insulting their king and his royal family on social media. 
 
It was gathered that the young man who lives in Vienna, Austria, had sometime ago, done some live videos on Facebook where he insulted their king and the royal family.

In the videos which are making the rounds on social media, the man can be heard in Igbo dialect making mockery of their community leader as he said he has been receiving threatening messages for insulting the monarch and exposing him.
 
The man said people have been telling him not to come back to the community or else he wants to be seriously dealt with. Some even told him that they would cut his dreadlocks if he ventures come back to the village.

Eze Awo who obviously did not take their threats seriously, decided to visit his village where he met angry youths of the community.
 
He was beaten and his dreadlocks were cut-off as he was given a stern warning to desist from insulting their king online or face more drastic actions.

The Inspector General of Police, Mr Ibrahim Idris, has deployed 30,000 police personnel in Ekiti ahead of the governorship election scheduled to hold on Saturday, July 14. Force Public Relations Officer, Mr Jimoh Moshood, revealed this in a statement on Sunday at the Force Headquarters in Abuja, the nation’s capital. He said the police boss has directed that a robust and elaborate security arrangement be implemented in Ekiti to ensure peaceful, credible, free and fair election. Ahmed Musa and Abdullahi Shehu in Sokoto Super Eagles forward, Ahmed Musa, has been pictured as he was mobbed by excited football fans after he arrived Sokoto earlier on Wednesday for a charity football match of his Nigerian teammate, Abdullahi Shehu.    Musa joined his closest pal in the national team, Shehu Abdullahi in Sokoto as they made cash food items donation to orphanages.
