Police PRO, Dolapo Badmos Reacts To Viral Video of SARS Officers Brutalising Man With Iron Rod

Zone 2 Police PRO Dolapo Badmos has expressed disgust after watching a viral video of some Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) officers brutalising a man with an iron rod while trying to take him into custody.

The outspoken police officer who was left in a state of shock by the video expressed anger that some police officers are tarnishing the image of the force with their unprofessional conduct.

Badmos, writing on her Instagram page said:

I’m so pissed off right now!!! I just don’t want to think of it. You work so hard but some unscrupulous element…..,,arrrghhh! “THE STORY OF A SWEATY FOWL” 👋 bye people, good night!

Sincerely my heart is with that young man in the trending video! That iron rod…. arrrrgh! That was uncalled for! Anyone with useful information about the young man should tell him to DM, text or call on 09071555555….we need to identify the men for proper action.

Ekiti Poll: IGP Deploys 30,000 Police Personnel, Assures Residents Of Safety

The Inspector General of Police, Mr Ibrahim Idris, has deployed 30,000 police personnel in Ekiti ahead of the governorship election scheduled to hold on Saturday, July 14. Force Public Relations Officer, Mr Jimoh Moshood, revealed this in a statement on Sunday at the Force Headquarters in Abuja, the nation’s capital. He said the police boss has directed that a robust and elaborate security arrangement be implemented in Ekiti to ensure peaceful, credible, free and fair election. According to Moshood, the Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG), Department of Operations has been deployed to the state and would be assisted by an Assistant Inspector General of Police (AIG), four Commissioners of Police (CPs), eight Deputy Commissioners of Police (DCPs), and 18 Assistant Commissioners of Police (ACPs), while each senatorial district would be manned by a CP. Ahmed Musa and Abdullahi Shehu in Sokoto Super Eagles forward, Ahmed Musa, has been pictured as he was mobbed by excited football fans after he arrived Sokoto earlier on Wednesday for a charity football match of his Nigerian teammate, Abdullahi Shehu.    Musa joined his closest pal in the national team, Shehu Abdullahi in Sokoto as they made cash food items donation to orphanages.
